Refunds

This page applies to compute cost reviews, usage window briefings, allocation mappings, and recurring spend briefings from Compute Pulse Grid. It does not apply to software licences, shipped goods, or classes, because we do not offer those.

Eligibility

A full refund of the commencement invoice is available if you cancel in writing before we confirm that reading has begun — that is, before we have opened the invoice pack and replied that the sitting is underway. After reading begins, commencement fees are not returned because the pack has already been marked.

Timeframe to ask

Ask for a refund within fourteen days of the event you are relying on (a cancellation, a no-show you wish to contest, or a deliverable you believe was not sent). Requests after that window are considered only where Malaysian law requires it.

Full and partial refunds

If we cannot start a sitting because we discover at intake that the vendor file is of a kind we do not read, we refund the commencement fee in full. If we have completed working sessions but have not yet delivered the memo, and you cancel, we retain the commencement fee and refund any remainder already paid. If the memo has been delivered, fees for that sitting are not refundable except where we failed to deliver the named pages.

Non-refundable items

Time already spent in working sessions, travel days quoted for sittings outside the Klang Valley once those days have occurred, and retainer months that have already closed are not refundable. A period note that was written against a complete invoice is a delivered item.

How to request a refund

Processing time and method

Approved refunds are returned by the same method you used to pay, within fifteen working days of our written approval. Bank timelines after we release the funds are outside our rooms.

Cancellation

You may cancel a sitting by email. If reading has not begun, see the full-refund rule above. If reading has begun, the commencement fee is kept and remaining work stops.

Rescheduling

Working sessions may be moved once, with three working days’ notice, at no extra fee. A second move, or a move with less notice, may be charged as an extra session at the window-briefing floor if we cannot fill the slot.

Deposits and commencement invoices

The fifty percent commencement invoice is a deposit against the sitting. It is applied to the fee. It is returned only under the eligibility rules on this page.

No-shows

If nobody from your side attends a booked working session and you have not moved it under the rescheduling rule, that session is treated as delivered. We will offer one replacement session in the following ten working days; a second no-show ends the sitting and remaining prepaid fees, if any, are refunded minus the commencement portion.

Work already started

Once we have marked invoices, that work has started. You may still cancel the remaining sessions; you do not receive a draft memo unless the remainder fee is paid.

Materials

We do not purchase materials on your behalf. There is nothing to restock. Invoice packs you sent are deleted according to the privacy notice; they are not “returned” as goods.

Retainers

A recurring spend briefing can be stopped at the end of a three-month block with ten working days’ notice. Unused future months in a block already invoiced are refunded on a simple month count if no note for those months has been written. A month whose note was already sent is not unused.

Exceptions

If we miss a confirmed delivery date by more than ten working days for reasons inside our control, you may cancel and receive a refund of fees for work not yet delivered. Illness that delays a sitting is communicated; we reschedule rather than refund unless you prefer to stop.
