Privacy

This notice explains how Compute Pulse Grid handles personal data when you request a compute cost or usage sitting, browse this site, or write to us. It is written for the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 of Malaysia, as amended, and for people who send us invoice packs from other countries.

Data controller

Compute Pulse Grid is the controller for personal data collected through compute-pulsegrid.digital and through sittings arranged from our Kuala Lumpur rooms. What we collect

From the contact form: name, email, the review you selected, dates you want read, and the message you write about the application. From a sitting: names and work emails of billing owners and session attendees, and whatever personal data happens to appear on invoices or logs you send (often names in billing contacts, sometimes user identifiers in usage extracts). From the site: essential cookies as described on the cookies page, and analytics cookies only if you accept them.

Why we collect it

We use this data to decide whether a pack is enough, to run the sitting, to write and deliver the memo, to invoice you, and to answer follow-up questions. We do not buy lists and we do not use sitting materials to train a public model.

Retention

Contact-form messages are kept for twenty-four months. Invoice packs and working files are deleted after the follow-up call unless a recurring briefing requires us to keep the last closed period, in which case we keep that period plus the original findings memo for the life of the retainer and thirty days after it ends. Invoices we issue are kept for the period Malaysian tax rules require.

Who we share with

We share data with the people named on your sitting (your colleagues), with our email and accounting providers who process on our instructions, and with authorities if the law requires. We do not sell personal data.

International transfers

Our rooms are in Malaysia. Email and file hosts may store copies outside Malaysia. Where we transfer personal data out of Malaysia we do so only as needed to run the sitting, and we take contractual steps available to us with those hosts. If you cannot accept that, do not send a pack; we can discuss a paper-only sitting in Kuala Lumpur.

Your rights

Subject to the PDPA and any exemptions, you may request access to personal data we hold about you, request a correction, and limit processing in certain cases. Write to info@compute-pulsegrid.digital. We may need to confirm it is you. You may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Commissioner in Malaysia.

Children

This site and our sittings are for people acting for organisations. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We will update this notice when our sittings or the law require it. The date that matters is the date you sent the pack for the sitting in question.
